Smartphone Drop pin for Derby Genting Club, Riverlights.< -- Tap this link on your smart phone.

When you tap the link above, it will launch your mapping application and place a "push pin" onto the map with the exact location of the entrance to Derby Genting Casino Club.
You can then use this marker to get driving, walking or bus directions from your current location.

For example on an iPhone you tap the "Directions" button at the bottom and this will pre-fill in the start location with your current location and the end location with the Derby Casino entrance.

So all you need to do is just tap the "Route" button at the bottom and it will show you either the driving route or the walking route. If you tap the bottom left icon 3 times then this will turn on follow mode, Centre mode and direction mode. What this means is that a blue flashing dot which represents you will stay in the centre of the screen and orientated in the direction that you travel in.

If you tap the middle button at the top, this will even show you which bus number and when the next bus to the Casino departs from your nearest location.
My push pin is far more accuare than any other map as its not based on the postcode which most maps are. My map is based on local knowlege of the location.

On the left is a screen grab of my iPhone after I have clicked on my smartphone link above and tapped the Directions button and then the Car button.

Click the mirrorball to the left, you will be able to see the exact location of the Casino in relation to the road and other landmarks.
Its like Google Streetview but higher quality.

The 360 degree image is interactive, as you hover the mouse over the view you will see pop-up information boxes so you can see where the entrance to the Casino is as well as the Hotel, Derby Bus Station, Derby Eagle Market, East Street, Derby Quad etc.

As you can see in this Google Streetview of Derby Casino the Derby Riverlights complex (Derby Bus Station, Holiday Inn Hotel, Hampton by Hilton Hotel) was just starting to being built, So my 360 view is the only way you will get to see where the casino is located before you get here.

There is no dedicated parking at this Casino but there are a few car parks very near to this venue.
The nearest car park to the casino is the Multi-Storey one which is just a few minutes walk away.

This is called "Westfield Riverside Multi-Storey Car Park" it has 959 spaces (58 disabled). You can see this car park in this Google Streetview.

If you are using public transport to get to the casino then, its ideal as the casino is part of Derby Riverlights which houses Derby's new Bus Station.
There is also a Taxi drop off point right outside the Casino entrance as you can see in my 360 view above.

There are two hotels actually built into the Derby RiverLights complex so you don't have to walk far to get to your hotel. The two hotels are..

"Hampton by Hilton Derby City Centre", Riverside Walk, Morledge, Derby DE1 2BB

"Derby Riverlights Holiday Inn", Morledge, Derby, DE1 2AY

The entrance to the Holiday Inn hotel can be seen in my 360 view, its entrance is just to the left of the entrance to the casino so you can't miss it. The Hilton Hotel entrance is at the back of the riverlights complex, just follow the signs for Hampton by Hilton.
