Alternative 360°/Panoramic Photograph viewer
By Andy Savage

This page features an alternative method of showing a panoramic photo on a web page.
This method does not require Quicktime or Java or any kind of plugin what so ever and yet works in every browser.

Please read all the notes here first
The 360 degree panoramic photo viewer on this page does not require ANY plugins, Quicktime or Java and it works in ALL browsers.

To view the panoramic photo, just click on the thumbnail image below. This will open a new window into which the large image will load.

The photo is large and may take anything upto one and a half minutes to fully load if using a 56K dial-up connection so please be patient.

Once the photograph has fully loaded you will be able to scroll the photo right and left using the mouse, no clicking required to do this.
To move the photo simply place the mouse pointer over the right or left areas of the photo and the image will scroll in that direction.
The scrolling speed can be controlled depending on how near the edges of the photo you get with the mouse.
There is a central 'dead area' on the photo where the image will stop scrolling.
To close the photo just click the normal window close button in the top right of the window.

I based this viewer on the CMotion Image Gallery script from Dynamic Drive DHTML code library Visit Dynamic Drive for free, original DHTML scripts and components, all of which utilize the latest in DHTML and JavaScript technology!
